The Rocking Horse Riders hosted a community garage sale Saturday 8/25 benefiting the Special Rodeo they raised and donated $1200.00 for the event. BAYTOWN CARES

Baytown Special Rodeo, Thanks again for another wonderful year of special memories we will cherish forever. We loved the new date, the weather was much cooler allowing us to stay longer to enjoy all the fun this year. Hope you consider keeping the date in November again next year. Greetings All… What a great day at Special Rodeo this year. Although attendance was down due to having to re-schedule around Hurricane Ike about 70 children, their families and a BUNCH of great volunteers had a super day. The weather was the best we’ve ever had and a great time was had by all. The Baytown Special Rodeo Association would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all who participated and to our outstanding, loyal sponsors. This event is a labor of love but would not be possible without our sponsors. Please check our sponsor page and thank them when you visit their businesses! Many thanks go again to Ralph Oler, Uncle Dave Lancon and all the great folks at Eastside Honda for once again hosting the event at their awesome facility. We are blessed by their hospitality, community involvement and love for the kids! Pictures are being posted now and the annual video will be posted as soon as it is completed. Thanks Mike and Amanda!
